Welcome to The Project, an independent bar and bottle shop located in the heart of Caerphilly.
Located on the site of the Dark Element Brewery, we serve as the unofficial taproom. We offer an ever-changing selection of craft beers on tap as well as a wide selection of cans and bottles in our fridges at our Caerphilly pub. We also offer a great range of ciders, wines, spirits and low or alcohol-free options.
During the day, The Project is a relaxed cafe bar, serving quality coffee and light bar snacks. In the evenings, we host regular events such as open mic nights, stand-up comedy, weekly quizzes and regular street food pop-ups.
Looking for a venue? Our private hire space seats up to 50 and includes its own sound system and large screen, ideal for parties or business events. We also have a large beer garden open on Saturdays and Sundays, perfect for sunny weekends with friends or family.
As a dog-friendly pub, we’re always happy to welcome four-legged companions, with fresh water, treats and plenty of fuss provided.
